SPORTS AND LEISURE IN MENORCA


Boat Trips
Port of Mahon (near ferry terminal) have a selection of trips. Also there are harbour trips from Cala Fons - go into Dinkums Bar for tickets.

Golf
Golf can be played at Son Parc in the north on a 9 hole course. However, as it is the only course on the island, it becomes very popular in the height of the summer and it is therefore necessary to book in advance. Tel: (971) 18 88 75. Clubs and trolley hire are available.

Horse Riding
This is available at S'Algar. The 'Equestrian Show' is situated just outside Ferreries on the road to Cala Galdana - the show includes training demos and an exhibition of horsemanship and carriage.

Karting
There is a go-cart track at the Aeroclub de Mahon on the Mahon/San Lluis road.

Sailing/Boating
If you wish to hire a boat we suggest you contact your property manager and give them you specific requirements and he/she will be able to give recommendations.

Sub Aqua Diving
Both S'Algar and Binibeca Torret have diving schools.

Water Sports
Available at most major resorts including windsurfing, pedaloes, ski-bobs (known as sausage or banana boats) and water skiing.
