El Gallo: On the Cala Galdana road from Ferrerias. Lovely setting and delicious food.
El Barranc: Over the bridge and turn right. A delightful restaurant with excellent choice

CUITADELLA
Excellent choice along harbour front - most attractive in the evening

ES CASTELL
Bar Espana: Good selection, popular with both Spanish and English. Well worth a visit. Tel: 971 36 32 99
Boomerang: Calle San Jose, Es Castell, Good and reasonable
El Italiano: Lovely old house, stylish Italian menu

FORNELLS
Es Plas: On the sea front, very good, fixed menu good value but expensive restaurant

MAHON
Most of the restaurants along the harbour front are good but here are a few
Gregal: Excellent fish restaurant although expensive
Roma: Excellent Pizzeria and pasta dishes
El Grille: Near airport. Great for meat lovers - charcoal grilled
Bosfero: On the port close to the bottom of the circular road that leads down from the town. Excellent and varied menu with great views over the harbour. Tel: 971 36 94 96
El Meson: At Fornells end of port, good quality food
San Jose: Lovely old Menorquin farmhouse serving good food on the road to Fornells just out of Mahon harbour Tel: 971 35 17 59

Cap Roig: Perched up on a rock above the coastline, renowned for fish and lobster, popular with locals. 971 18 83 83

Casino Bar: Quite reasonable prices and a popular Jazz night once a week during the season.
El Sereno: On the Mahon road between Airport and San Clemente. Need to be hungry, set price to eat as much as you can.
Es Moli de Foc: Attractive restaurant, excellent food and a pretty garden
C'an Bernat: Typically Spanish Restaurant on the Cala'n Porter Road from San Climent Tel: 971 37 72 94

SAN LUIS
La Rueda: Tapas Bar and Restaurant above, fully air conditioned. Great value, popular with local and tourists
Sa Parereta D'en Doro, Torret: Farmhouse, sophisticated menu

SON BOU
Casa Andreas: Excellent value and service, inexpensive
Hotel Sol: Worth visiting the hotels for a buffet meal, especially good for children. Buy a ticket at reception, reduced price for children under 7
Club San Jaime: Good place to take the children. Try their paella on a Sunday lunch time
Beach Bars: good for snack lunches
Pizzeria el Gondolier: Popular with children
Opera: Take the road next to Club San Jaime and go to top of hill until sign to Opera on left. Old farmhouse pizza restaurant.

S'UESTRA

Hostal Biniali: Stylish country hotel, good food, peaceful atmosphere, covered terrace.
Villa Madrid: lovely country house serving excellent food

TORRET
Sa Pedrera: Up-market restaurant serving a variety of European dishes in lovely setting in old Menorquin building.
